Great job!
Actually I thought the movie was better than what most say it to be. Granted it kind of was aiming down the same path as Lucas' first foray into a movie with music and that was the spectacular American Graffiti. This outing was aimed towards girls, though. The music is very good and the singing by the actors is excellent. I actually like Marianne's 'Stronger' better than the original and also Bog's 'Mistreated' I like better than the original. But all in all it still is a good family story for those with small kids. I have two boys (Star Wars fans to boot) and they like the story. But I think I was the most surprised as how attached I got to the story. I do like the romantic pairing between Marianne and Bog. Marianne in particular, I took to very much. She's actually the type of woman I would go for. She's very pretty too. The animation used for the characters faces is fantastic. So, Naturally I latched on to the movie myself and even created a fanfic and some drawings myself.

Thank you! I can agree with many things you said. Especially the animation, modeling, textures and lighting on the scenes was very beautiful. <3

Yes, I love the animation system they used for Strange Magic. I usually never get attached to animated characters to the point were I am attracted to them. I get fond of them and like them alot and think they are beautiful...such as Elsa from Frozen. But I do find Marianne very attractive. I love her eyes the most. As with a human actor her eyes are special and I do find myself staring into them often. Sometimes I feel awkward admitting that as normally I don't think that way about animated characters. It is not like when I fell for Angelina Jolie's Maleficent. Yeah that is no problem there, I will come out easily and say I am love with her as Maleficent.
Another thing is the skin textures. Check this out:

I saw this picture of Marianne before I seen the film. A friend sent that shot to me and I immediately noticed her eyes and her skin textures the way the light hits her skin. It really looks like real skin. The little creases on her lips. Her hair? I was like OMG! Now I have to see this movie.
Animated characters are starting to look real. Granted the character's body dimensions are still way off as animators love to draw oversized heads. Strange Magic is no different, but the proportions are better.
The thing with Strange Magic though was that the animation was inconsistent. Check this shot out:

The detail in her eyes is amazing, but the skin texture is different and her lips don't have the glossy look. But it is her golden brown eyes that dominate the shot.
I can go on and on about the animation in this film. It is an amazing rendering system.
