I'm trying to jump back into watercolors and what better way to do it than with some STRANGE MAGIC?! It's been a long while since I posted any Bog & Marianne artwork and I'm glad to break the streak with this. I LOVE how it turned out

Aww, this is absolutely lovely. The watercolors work so well for this picture, giving it such a soft, warm look, and the colors and texture are especially perfect for Marianne's wings. And the expression on Marianne's face is utterly heart-melting; that peaceful bliss in her face as she just melts against her goblin's chest. And I love the detail, texture, and highlights of Bog's scales, especially the bark-like look of his shoulder plates. Most of the pictures I see of these two focus on their faces, so it's cool to see a painting from a different angle, focusing on the colors and textures of their wings. Very lovely and sweet all around, and a beautiful tribute to these two darlings and their lofe for one another.
