About a week ago, I was going through an old sketchbook of mine and found a sketch very similar to this one, but the anatomy and pose was all wrong. I decided to re-draw the image and this is what I came out with. Much better.

I am notoriously lazy when it comes to backgrounds, so I found a screencap of Spock's family's ceremonial grounds from "Amok Time", tweaked it a little, and stuck it behind him. The title "Vulcan's Glory" was lifted from one of my favourite TOS novels. The lens flare was just because I like it. I wish we'd gotten a scene like this in"Amok Time". A Spock episode, but Kirk's shirt was the one that was ripped. Unfair, I say!

I do not usually draw chest hair because I do not usually find it attractive (except on Leonard Nimoy, and now, Zachary Quinto). Also, as I said, I can be quite lazy. But in the past, I havevalways gotten flak for not drawing chest hair on Spock, so I did this time.

There's another old Spock drawing right here in my gallery that I want to redo. Perhaps that will be next. My digital colouring skills are much better than when I did that other drawing.
