If you're a DC fan like me, then you probably love all the DC characters most iconic costumes! And if you're like me, then you probably DON'T like what the New 52 has done to those costumes. Granted, some look kinda cool, but most are unnecessary, ugly, character-destroying and just plain wrong! D:<

While I understand characters change as time goes on, that includes their appearance, there are ways to alter looks to make them a little more modern, but still tasteful and respectful to their true and traditional looks that we've all known and love.

This is what you see here.

Green Lantern
John Stewart, whom I believe is the most interesting of the GLs, kinda tripped me up a bit. I respect his character so I wanted to do him justice! Facial wise, I've seen him with hair, no hair, with a beard, no beard, with mustache, no mustache etc. His eyes, for example... To be green, or not to be green? That was the question. I agreed the green eyes gives him a more facial diversity. With that, instead of giving him plain or dark eyes or glowing green eyes, I went with the simple, he has green shaded eyes. As for his suit, I wanted to keep it simple, but more appealing, so I gave the shoulder/torso a more armor-ized look. Thank DCAU and Young Justice for this inspiration!
