I had to do it... the last Starfire picture got me inspired so I had to draw my FAVORITE teen titan, Raven!Young Justice Raven just has to happen! She doesn't have to be as dark as her animated series counterpart, but I think she should be socially awkward, and a little crude and oblivious to comments. And of course, we can't forget that smart-alecky tone!
So what do you guys think?!

The eye designs on her hood and the lack of skin she shows compared to the Teen Titans Raven make her look a lot more imposing. The bird symbols on her sleeves and her gems are a nice ouch too. I actually didn't notice those at first.

I think she looks way too "thick" for my taste on Raven, but the costume looks incredible! Cool designe. I love Raven too

i'll like to do short animation and just by seeing your raven and starfire "young justice" version of your works, I think there perfect.
you can work on the story with me and a few others if you want. But the offer isn't asking you to draw the animation. oh no that's complete hell to do for something your not getting paid for. What I do instead is get my artist to draw 'puppets'.
if you don't know how the puppets work, it's basically you just draw them looking front, back and sideways for us and we actually chop the heads, arms or legs to move separately instead of having to re-draw each scene. It saves time.
the animation is only going to be 2 min each and you'll only need to do Starfire, cyborg and Raven since the actual young justice already have Nightwing and Beast Boy. What we'll be asking is a few things though
- whole body images of front, back, left, right and sometimes slight front right angels which you've already done
- head shots only with different facial expressions, which will be 5 (sad, angry, joy, fear and normal(when their just talking and don't really show emotions)
- have 3 images of only the lips drawn open, close and in a circular shaped (when you say wards like 'round' you'll need circular lips
- and have all the images png so with no white background and in hd 720-1000 quality so when we do zoom in in the body shots it doesn't get all blurry

That all sounds pretty cool actually! And I'm glad you like my art! Unfortinately though, at this point in time, I'm usually doing drawings just for commissions (I could use the money) If I had the free time and financial stability, I would be glad to help out! Keep me updated though! Perhaps, in the future, if there's a small drawing you need done or need me as a consultant, lemme know, we might be able to work something out!

that's understandable, and I will keep you updated if anything interesting comes up that we could use your help in, both advice wise and maybe just small drawings (e.g. maybe just drawing silkie if we really can't find anyone as good as yours)Β
until then i hope we get another chance to really work something out. plus it would probably be some time anyway before we really get started so hopefully things might change so we can work out a way to work together.Β
But here is the heads up on what we got so far, so you know where we're up to if sometime in the future you do get a chance to work with us.
- My team have already a voice actor for starfire in mind once we start. But we still have a long way to go before we even start with our voice actors
- So we're Β deciding what kind of stories we can do in 2min and how many exactly we plan on doing. Originally it was meant to be comedic thing where we just play around with some of the jokes about the Teen Titans/Young Justice. But as soon as we started creating puppets with the young Justice Nightwing and BeastBoy we realised it would turn out to look official, and we could actually do serious stories about the characters and their emotions. We then got the idea that if we do this well, it could actually convince the original producers to either bring back Teen titans or Young Justice. (Since the style of young Justice and Β the characters of Teen Titans)Β
So this project became a way to create popularity to the shows so it could possibly come back due to popular demand. Yeah we're that much of a fan to the shows.... But we figured that what we could do is more than just a fan comedy thing, and if we act smart with the story it could do alot more for the shows (if they don't sue us first, but as long as says to bring back the shows it will act well as a partition to bringing the shows back and not seem like a way to make money out of it to the creators, even though we won't even get anything out of this but the waste of our lives)
So what we're up to now is re-planning the stories of each video. We still plan to keep it 2min so we'll need to figure out what exactly could we do to execute a good story for each episode under the 2min. We figured will do a few joke episodes were it's just the characters trying to prank each other and somewhat since the shows did include comedic scenes. Β So far we worked out that we only want to do 7 or 10 episodes since any more would kill us.
there is much more but that's all i'm gonna say for now since your not exactly a member of the team (yet maybe) and i can't bore you too much with this just yet. But since it's apparent you are a fan, i'll like to let you know how we plan on doing for this project and see if you have any ideas about what kind of stories we could do. (we do have a few ones already planned but we'll still like to hear more from any other fans)

I have a theory on why there is not YJ Raven, but it's not that dark or is it.Β I just speculate there is a deep connection between her and the Spectre and others like them.

eh, I think it was because they already had beast boy and didn't want to add another titan or maybe because they think if they add her then BBrae shippers would be going through the roof and wanting them to be a thing on the show.

Man, I am so pissed at cartoon network for canceling Young Justice after two seasons. I would've love to see the rest of the Teen Titans in action for that series.

i totally agree. i want YJ Raven SOOOOOO BAAAAAAAD. it's killing me not having her there. i just absolutely LOVE her. i remember watching TT when i was younger and i loved her gothic style and attitude. i identified most with goth characters back then and still sort of do now. dunno why, i just really take a liking to them. anyways, the fact is YJ needs to put her in ASAP, cause we need a dark character there all the time, that's also not Batman....and i kinda want her to be sort of close to Beast Boy's age cause i ship them..... >.>

As much as I love sarcastic Raven, I hope the producers/writers (I heard that in the future they're planning to introduce her into the show) are leaning towards more of her comic counterpart.

She's going to have a guest appearance in the next two issues (January and February). Lobdell is also planning to write a spinoff series where Raven's the leader next year, I believe somewhere in the late 2013 or 2014?
