At the point of posting, I probably put 300 hours into this piece, though most of it was making changes and/or corrections. Then I decided I still disliked the piece, cut it down and reworked it some more. Maybe another 15 hours... [link]

"Fountain of Youth" looks great!!! Love the patterns you've put on all the plant-life. I'm sure whatever enhancing you do will make it even more spectacular! I see the moss is growing just fine between the rocks in that garden! Heehee!

Well...did I tell you that I just cut that one up on Tuesday? I took the right half of the canvas and restretched it. I am fixing the remaining image, so hopefully it will work in it's new format.

Nope! I took part of the remaining bits and are getting those framed for my Mom and sis, but I am not sure what, if anything, I am doing with the rest of it.

Thanks! Keep an eye out for the new version of this piece. I was very frustrated with the composition, so I cut down the canvas and restretched the right half. I am currently reworking some of the color and will post the new version in the near future.

Thanks! They are coming together. I hope I can photograph this piece better soon. It has a lot of metallic paint on it, so it photographed kinda dark.
