I originally had a different art piece planned next, but I totally had to change my mind because IKE GOT CONFIRMED FOR SMASH BROS. 4 AND WITH HIS FE RADIANT DAWN DESIGN SQUEEEEE!!I totally love Ike to pieces and he's SO hot in RD!! He's badass, he's epic, he has amazing sword skills, his games are totally awesome, and he wields the most awesome sword ever (that golden blade pictured here, it's called Ragnell)! He's also really funny on occasion lol. And he loves to eat, which I also find funny. XD
Ike is in a random Smash arena in this pic and some of his biggest fans are there to see him, including Elincia (I ship her with him too, which is why she has hearts over her head), his sister Mist, Aimee (a merchant girl that actually has a huge crush on Ike lol), and his best friend Soren. And yes, that's Sothe hiding up there at the top, haha. He admires Ike too! He just doesn't want anyone to find out he's there, lol. Soren just has his eye on Aimee lol. Lastly, numerous fangirls and some male fans are in the stands too. Ike is very famous in his games as well, and besides Aimee, a couple other girls get flirty with him too! Ike could totally get any girl he wants, I swear! He's kind, he's passionate, and as I said above, he's freaking hot! The other reason for this is that in real life, Ike seems to have more fangirls than fanboys too, and I'm not surprised. XD
The dialogue is best read in this order:
Ike: Hey everyone! I'm back in the game!
Aimee: Ikey-poo!!
Soren: ... *watches Aimee closely*
Mist: That's my brother!
Elincia: Oh, Ike! We were so afraid that you were going to be replaced with that Chrom person!
Ike: Me? Get replaced with that loser? Fat chance! I never let my fans down!
Chrom: Ike, I swear I'm going to kick your ass for this if no one in my group gets in.
Ike: With what? That little piece of metal you call a broadsword?
Oh, btw, Aimee actually calls Ike "Ikey-poo" in Path of Radiance too. lol
Chrom, however, isn't so amused here, haha. He's pissed because Ike might have just killed his (and any other FE: Awakening character's) chances of getting in the roster, haha. And guess what caused the red-orange spots on him (hint: it isn't blood). XD There might still be an FE: Awakening rep though, who knows?
This is my first ever drawing done entirely on my tablet and Photoshop, btw. No pencil sketch phase! And I'm pleased with the result!

Yeah, I'd prefer RD Ike too, he is totally hotter! But I'd be fine with PoR Ike as well, he still has a decent amount of muscle.

Well too bad for Chrom he is not even DLC, Lucina came in because there were not enough female fighters, and Robin came in, because he is the avatar character in Awakening, Roy came back because Melee fans were really upset that Roy wasn't in Brawl, and Corrin came in to represent Fates, if Smash 4 is ported to the switch, then either Alm from Gaiden/Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, or a new Fire Emblem character will come in along with Decidueye, if Pokemon Gen 8 isn't announced for the Switch yet, the reason why Marth came in, it is because if it wasn't for him and Roy, we wouldn't have Fire Emblem released outside of Japan, and Ike came back, because he is a fan favorite.

Hey there, sorry I took so long to look this over. Anyhow, it's pretty good. The way you drew Ike is excellent, with excellent detail given to his armor, clothes, hair, and biceps. The dialogue is also a nice touch, since Chrom strikes me as the sort to get incredulous since this was predicted to be his debut in the Smashiverse. Ike ragging him about Falchion being smaller than Ragnell is also funny. The only serious flaw in the pic is the people in the background. They don't look nearly as well drawn, likely since they're drawn from so far away. Maybe, if you try to do a second version of this, Ike might be closer to them? Sort of like reaching into the first row of stands and shaking the fans's hands, possibly excluding Chrom on that score? Also, you mentioned that, had you formatted this as a comic, it would've taken much too long. Would that have been the case if you had the other characters only shown from the neck-up? If that could be done, the dialogue could also be smoothed out. Does that sound like something worth considering for future use? Please let me know, and thanks for reminding me about this.

Thanks, Falchion! Yeah, this was supposed to have some comedic value lol. I did the sword thing because even though Chrom's Falchion is bigger than Marth's, it's STILL not as big as Ragnell! lol
I realize the people in the stands aren't as detailed, but if I drew each of them the way I did Ike one by one, that would take like FOREVER. I took a lazier route, but I at least drew more details on the named characters and gave the generic people different hairstyles and such, right? I've seen other people do even less with crowds in their art.
Also, Ike was supposed to be near the middle of the arena and had only entered like a minute ago.

Given my crappy eyesight, I'll have to take your word for it about Falchion and Ragnell's sizes. Incidentally, how can you tell? The only time you're likely to see them side-by-side is if Chrom fights Priam in the Garden of Giants paralouge. And, neither sword stays still for long in a fight like that. So, how did you gauge their sizes? Well, think of it this way. Chrom and PoR Ike are around the same build and height, it seems. Ragnell is huge compared to Ike though. Falchion isn't quite as big compared to Chrom. And look at how big Ragnell is next to RD Ike in his new SSB4 art. That sword is still damn big. Chrom is definitely smaller than RD Ike. It's a rough comparison, but I think it's accurate.

Beats me. I just sent a test message to your page that seemed to come out fine. And, I didn't mean a major edit. I meant just in case you wanted to redo this pic at a later date. You know, like experimenting to find ways around earlier problems. Like I said, if you want to give this another go in the future, maybe my suggestions will help? I got to admit I was shocked when I saw Ike was going to come back. I really thought they weren't going to put him in. I thought they *might* put Chrom in, but he just didn't have the uniqueness that Ike had with his Aether.
And let's be honest, throwing your sword in the air and leaping up to catch it is way cooler than just leaping at your foe with your sword. Maybe not realistic, but screw realistic! This is anime! We can do whatever the heck we want!
And besides, that Radiant Dawn look is badass!

I knew Ike would stay! I just thought he was too iconic to FE and too unique to cut. And he's popular. I did have a fear deep down that he could be cut, but overall, I felt he would stay and he is. :3
But yeah, Ike's Aether is the fricken coolest and one reason I love him so much! And yes, his RD look is SWEEET. ^^
