EDIT: Oh myyyyy I just noticed that I submitted this without writing a damn thing O_o I don't know how it happened. D:
Anyways, I wanted to write that this picture is a perfect example of a random idea that can evolve into the whole illustration without you even reaslising that! First a sketch happened, then I thought of trying out some base colours, it made me crop the composition and then I heard the word "bamboo" in tv in the other room, hence the bamboo forest was added. Just like magic I found myself coloring the face and it was already TOO LATE...
I have had that feeling for long time.
And nope, there's no "The last of us" inspiration
