Yea! I love pencil art! And I love the contrast in this! Particularly in the swirl beneath the snitch where it's touching the stand. :] It's a beautiful shape and I love the contrast in the lines down there. It almost looks shiny and I love the shine on the stand itself. If there is one thing I would like to see different, it would be to add more of the contrast and shine to the ball of the snitch itself (which is tricky, since that's where you have a lot of detail). You have some on there already (on the left side of the ball) where you have shown the difference in the light and dark values. That is definitely my favorite part of the ball, but even there, I think it could really add to your picture to push the values there even further and really make it pop! Something that may also help with this would be to make your light source clearer up on the top half of the image since it is already made very clear at the bottom. Great work on that! :] And really, great job over all! This is a very sticking piece and definitely caught my eye! :]

Very good job. It's hard to find a flaw here. But after careful examination, I think there's something off between the lighting and the shadow. The shadow is so clearly defined with no blurred edge, which implies a strong light nearby on the opposite side. But the highlights on the object suggests multiple ambient light sources.
Also the bottom of the base seems to be off. I think the left side should be slightly lower? Right now it doesn't look like it's standing stably.
I'm just nitpicking though. Overall well done and I really like how you represented the metal brush effect.

This is a perfect drawing which I could almost *swear* was drawn from life. Being a HP fan and recognizing the Snitch is a bonus! The shading is perfect even with the medium used. It is crisp and clean like a photograph.
