For some reason, when I see that face, I can just hear evil, metallic laughter. Insane, hysterically evil metallic laughter.

Quick, but fantastically effective. Did you happen to base the detailing off of the concept sketches for the new live action movie? The brow ridges look strikingly similar. I based my eva drawing on the new designs ^^

I really love the eyes, but the first thing that cought my attention was it's mouth section.

It kinda looks like a persian cat with the flat nose if you know. And it almost seems like it has wrinkles above its eyes.

Other than that it's brilliant, the coloring is great, the depth and overall stature is incredible.

Wow man, I can't believe that I'll be on the first page of posts for this. Really good Evangelion art is hard to find. I can't tell you the joy that swept over me when I actually saw what 'Truly a Demon' meant. Wonderful, sir, keep it up.

You've captured the essence of "Berserker"! Quite well done, and while not entirely perfect it is easily recognizable as Eva Unit 01 and the reason I decided to check it out: I had a sneaking suspicion it was. Over all, nice use of value and perspective. It gives it an overwhelming oppressive feeling which, if anyone else has watched the anime, it was. One of my favorite series, good job on really doing it justice!
