It's so unreal in a way, and yet I can feel myself there...

The surface the astronauts are standing on looks odd somehow... doughy? I think that's hardly noticeable in full view, though.

I was trying to recreate the mood of the Moon and show that the big hollow space rock can be beautiful as well. The beauty of relativity and overall contrast.

The surface there is covered by grit, sand and numerous rocks of all sizes and forms. A mix texture of this matters under the direct omniscient light from Sun is not simple for painting, as I expected, and the applyling of noise filter caused such funny effect.

Cause I love the grainish sharpen feeling: it makes it look more as natural media. But everything needs an accurate limitation, which, it seems, is lacking of this piece.

Not sure about the perspective of the people. Something about them looks off.

But what i really love about this is the lighting - You have kept a brightness in the piece that really helps make it look realistic.
