That's very arguable; our decisions in life are indeed the mirror to our true selves, but our decisions derive from the way we percieve ourselves, and the way pe percieve ourselves is based on how others react to our decisions, from birth to near death. Now, if this triangle functions in fact as it does in theory is a whole other subject, but it really is a nice metaphor for a higher connection between individuals.
