Description
Forthe Epic Gatekeeper challenge for the Face/Off group, the object was to create either the guardian of a portal or the things being guarded against. I opted for Uriel, the angel tasked with barring the way to the Garden of Eden. According to legend, he is often depicted as wielding a flaming sword and carrying a book or papyrus representing wisdom. As an Angel of Repentance, he's also said to be as pitiless as any demon (yes, good CAN be scary).Pencil work.

Hmm... Curtis is running a anime-style game for one of our regular gaming groups, and my character is paired with Uriel. Normally he's unflappable, but I managed to make him angry once. It was scary (but fun).

Hah! Yeah, I can imagine ticking off a seraphim would be pretty terrifying – and if you survive it, it would also make for great drinking stories with your buddies ("hey, remember that time we hacked off Uriel? Ooh boy, what fun that was! I do miss Australia though ...")
