Here I worked with a photo displaying a very commercial composition in the glamour industry.I again used a good level of detail to bring out the skins subtle lines and details of the face.
I wanted to tone down on the intensity of brushwork on this image to not overall make the subject seem ugly. But still not give an airbrushed smooth texture either. I wanted to execute my style into this piece enough for it to be real and have an ounce of grit within the painting.

I can't stop staring at the lips! Those are by far the best lips I've seen! Awesome job! Oils or Acrylics? I want to say oils, but I'm bad with telling on an image on the internets.

your way of drawing is amazing how you still keep the lines of the brushes and when looking from a distance you see a realistic figure

because you toned down on the intensity of brushwork- it paid off greatly!! impressive work---love how you use many different skin tones in your subjects without making the color differences to obvious- some of your paintings/and some parts of others i've noticed that you've got an uncanny realistic approach to making the subjects appear more real than photo!!!

I do try to increase surface detail in areas usually not worked on as much. This is what gives it sometimes this feel.
