Description This is the cover to a Hogswatch card I made and sent out to some of my friends at the TerryPratchettBooks.com forum. We had a very pleasant international exchange of holiday cards this year. I was very cool to get them from so many different countries.

I recognize Nanny Ogg, and Magrat (who kind of resembles Carol Kane in my opinion), and I think the frowning girl in the corner might be Eskarina Smith, but who are the others, the red head cant be Granny Weatherwax, and the children I don't know, but the little boy who got the Helmet reminds me of Nobby Nobbs.

I've gotten a similar response from a few people. The problem is that I mixed together characters that aren't often seen together. Three of the four are witches and they fit together fine, but I added Lady Sybil to the mix and that throws people off.
This drawing is of Tiffany Aching and her brother Wentworth, Nanny Ogg and her grandson Pewsey, Lady Sybil and her son Young Sam, and Magrat and her baby Little Esme.

Close, but not quite.... although I admit "Agnes" would have made a bit more sense, considering the company she is keeping in this image.

Your not the only one to come to that conclusion. Its my fault for setting Sybil and Sam with the witches, its confusing. Though I have to say that I never thought of Agnes as quite that... um...(clears throat) womanly.

The Amazing Hair (an excellent wig, of course, what with the swift ignition of hair by stray dragon flames) definitely means Sybil. Yeah, Sybil and Young Sam are a bit out of place here -- not that Sybil wouldn't find herself at home with the witches and the Lancre kids. I suspect they'd get on famously. Rather sad that they may never get to meet...
