The troops of ghost army really did a number to fool German Intel, from what I know most in the ghost army were artists using their talents to fool the Germans of course they also had sonic and radio deception but it was the artists that were most impressive, they'd have fake command centers, commanders even patches of other military units and knowing said units theme song

These comics are hilarious and we get to learn stuff, too! I love it when people use Hetalia for actual historical reasons!!!
Can you do something with this?

TT____TT Oh General Patton, you were too good at fighting a war but bad at socializing with the rest of the Allies like Eisenhower can.... ^___^ He's from my state, so I'll just settle for being glad that Germany take him so seriously.

PFFFFT I actually think we touched upon this a bit in world history class once. With the fake armies being stationed in northern Britain to trick the Germans.
It's like having an epic staring contest, except your opponent is secretly a piece of painted plywood propped up and someone behind your back is chopping onions.
Do you think you'll do the comic on the mini submarines I told you about?

Iggy and Ivan deserve a pat on the back. Oh well, here's an improv writing about the Germans instead.
"The fight did not start, yet the feeling of victory was already in the hearts of the enemy. Winning the battle would be an easy task, and why not, for they are the men of a perfect army in service to a perfect country. While the men were still swimming in their hubris, numerous boats had landed in Normandy and a soldier made the first successful shot."

Thanks. You could check out the writing it was from [link] . Note: it was written based on a music piece so you might want to open the link in description before reading.

A great little comic, and fantastic to get these history bites. Thank you so much.
Also, I love Germany's face waiting over that table.

Hurrah! So chuffed to see another one!
I love that you have the German flag over Normandy that suddenly changes into the Union Flag as Germany continues to watch Calais.

I remember, you are into flags. So how can you tell if the Union flag is upside down? I never knew about that.

HA! I love how Germany's getting more and more frazzled in the bottom two panels waiting for the Allie to invade. XD

Yes... I remember reading somewhere about someone making the comment about not paying any attention to the weather after D-Day because it was such a relief.

I saw a documentary on that. The Ghost Army. The enemies never saw through the artist's camouflage!

Sadly, I only found a preview of it. It's a PBS documentary and it aired on May 21st.

Aha, I knew this one but it's always so funny, how the Germans believed the attack would come from Calais (given how it was the fastest way from Britain and such) and believed it until very late XD
