Yes but I think the viewers need to have some background knowledge in order to be informed. Then they would appreciate it more.

Yeah, the Germans and their love for plans and schedules... The Russians used to set their clocks according to German artillery bombardement, it was so on schedule.

Why am I not surprised? hahaha. I too can be obsessed with schedules, I get so upset when a time is set but no one arrives on time.

He did have some amazing stories! I once asked what he hated most about the war and he said "There was no whisky or chocolate!" The two things every Scotsman can't live without. Seems that I've inherited his clumsiness and his sense of humour...

Pffffrt, that's so funny! XD I just don't get why the British would apologise and go around rescuing their enemies. ._.? And I'm British! That doesn't make sense to me. O_o

Love this, by the way.

I have never heard of an invasion of Britain that was actually started. The Kriegsmarine was outnumbered around 1 to 4-5 afloat so any invasion force would have been cut of off support immidiatly once they were over the channel. Plus a major part of the fleet was destroyed during the attack on Norway. And what they had on troop transporters were not even real troop transporters and those things were extremly slow. That was why they needed to control the sky before they could dare to invade Britain. And that was never achived.
So my question is, was there really an invasion planned or just a smaller operation? I´m sure I would have heard or read something about an invasion of Britain that was stopped by the own mines.
But that aside it was really a great comic. And it´s true both nays danced around each other a lot. I mean, the Germans managed to break the british codes and the Brits managed to break the german codes. They were reading each others mails without realising that their own codes were brocken.
And as already some others said, the last picture was brilliant. I can´t believe that England would actually apologise for that. But many things between these navys seem unbelieveble. Like british officers defending the german fleet admirals after the war. England and Ludwig are really strange sometimes.

Ah, good to know. I was starting to doubt my knowledge on the war against Britain. I was like "Wait, we lost an entire invasion fleet thanks to our own mines and I don´t know?!".
By the way, I thought a bit more about England apologising for that and I think I have an explanation. Both navy´s tried to go with the "a sailor in danger is never an enemy" way. For the simple reason that it could always be you who is out there without hope of survival if the enemy doesn´t help you.
Of course it was limited to how far they dared to help. The german ships risked being found and destroyed by the british fleet and the brits risked being attacked by a german submarine. And german submarines risked being bombed by the royal air force if they were bringing british sailors to an island or something. But when it was possible they tried to rescue their enemy. So that´s why England wouldn´t just let the german sailors drown.
And as for apologising, well, I would think that´s because it´s embarrassing for the Brits to admit that they forgot to deal with the mines. They are after all very proud of their navy and then the navy forgets something like that? Not a good sign for british disciplin. So they try to somehow cover that up. And because they are gentleman, of course.
Well, that would be my guess.

AH-HA-HAAAAAA! XD Germany actually got mad at England?! And England actually apologized?! XD This is too funny! If I was England, I would have been like, "PSH! It's your own fault for trying to invade me!"

...but...what? They blew themselves up with their own mines? That THEY put there? And honestly SHOULD have intended to stay there? WTH? I'm failing to see why this would be Iggy's fault and why he should provide medical care to the idiots that blew themselves up.
