Fictional Story
Little is known about the origins of Yan Polaris. His parents abandoned him when he was just a baby. Yan was left on Cerelius, a small outpost that is a kind of residential hub and space station between the planets. The people of Cerelius discovered the baby in a garbage can and took it into their care and upbringing.
At the age of 12, Yan, like all the inhabitants of Cerelius, is experiencing a global event that completely changes their lives. One day, a fierce battle breaks out at the outpost. between two powerful aliens, Bartos Dogoa, the legendary space hero, and Prax, the planetary conqueror. During the fight, the hero defeats the conqueror, but at the last moment, the villain manages to release a powerful surge of energy that spreads to the entire Cerelius.
The energy wave affects the entire outpost and its inhabitants; many of them die, and those who survive undergo a genetic change and acquire unusual properties and abilities. Yan Polaris manages to survive the energy surge, and soon he learns that he is able to shift the size of his body.
Rumors about what happened on Cerelius are spreading very quickly throughout many galaxies. The inhabitants of the outpost and those who survived the splash become the focus of various tourists, pirates, rarity hunters, and slavers.
At some point, the residents of Cerelius who survived the splash are hunted by slavers. Due to his unusual and very useful abilities, Polaris also becomes their victim. He is sent to Sampar, a small mining planet where valuable metals and crystals are mined, but after proving his value and usefulness, Polaris is accepted as a member of the slavers' order, and later he becomes a kind of mercenary to search for and capture escaped slaves.
One day, Yan is given the task of finding and capturing two slaves who managed to free themselves and escape. The slaves themselves are very powerful and dangerous. Slavers hire four space pirates to help Yan: Kartazi, Emilla Three, an unnamed Plexauri race crab-humanoid, and their leader, Dor Sor Ga.
Traces of escaped slaves lead pirates to Earth in Los Angeles, California. The pirates demand that the earthlings surrender the fugitives, but not getting what they want, the aliens decide to destroy the city.
Due to his ability to size-shift, Polaris causes the most damage to the city, but the Star Guards, powerful space peacekeepers who protect the universe from evil, fly to earth. They manage to stop the space pirates; Yan and two others, Emilla Three and Kartazi, are arrested, but during the arrest, Kartazi is resisting, and she gets killed. Plexauri manages to hide, and Dor Sor Ga escapes the planet.
After keeping Polaris in prison for several months, the S.G.C. (Star Guards Corp) forms a pact with him, asking that he help them find Dor Sor Ga. In return, his sentence is commutated; he is transferred from a life sentence to only 10 years. However, he must spend the next ten years working on the planet that he and the pirates attempted to destroy.
Polaris is sent to Earth for community service. He is left under the supervision of Jessica Novak, the newly minted Star Guard of the Earth, and in order for him to be unable to harm anyone or escape from our planet, he is sealed in a special strait-suit.
Once on Earth as a prisoner, Polaris has to work for the government and social services. During this time, he studies our culture and tries to get rid of the strait-suit. However, later, the government decides to disable the suit's ability limiter. They believe that the alien, with his size-shifting powers, will be more useful.
Later, Polaris is recruited into the secret government's project called The Final Frontier. The project was created to control and suppress the rebellious superhumans and protect ordinary citizens. Although the citizens themselves still harbor anger and hatred toward Yan, the people of Los Angeles call him the destroyer, and some of them believe that the alien should be executed. Well, sometimes it seems to Yan that "it’s better to be executed than to be a prisoner for 10 years on this pathetic, underdeveloped planet."
Personality
Yan Polaris is pompous, arrogant, proud, stubborn, and narcissistic. He is constantly dissatisfied with something and is very rude to others.
The man always considers himself better, smarter, and more skilled than others and is unable to accept his own personal shortcomings. Polaris regards Earthlings as uncivilized morons and our planet as a pathetic, underdeveloped hole.
Powers and abilities
Size-shift
After the surge of energy on Cerelius, Yan gained the ability to completely shift the size of his body. He can both increase and decrease in size with incredible speed and without any harm to himself; initially, Yan did it very slowly. His maximum size reaches up to 100 meters, and the minimum is down to 1 millimeter. When shifting size, his physical abilities, such as strength, durability, density, and body weight, change along with his size.
Physiology
Yan Polaris is an alien and a representative of the Warpent race, but his physiology is almost identical to that of a human, except for the density of his bones. Yan's skeleton is less dense and much lighter than a human's, but it is not less durable than ours.
Physical abilities
The abilities of Yan`s body are almost like those of an average earthling, although his physical fitness exceeds the norm for an ordinary person and can be compared with the training of Olympic athletes.
Super jump
The gravity of our planet affects Yan much less than earthlings; thanks to this and his light skeleton, the alien is able to jump great distances.
The smaller Yan is, the farther he is able to jump.
Skills
Yan has an incredibly high level of intelligence, reaching up to 300 IQ. The alien is an expert in technology, mechanics, engineering, robotics, and electronics. Polaris is also an excellent physicist, chemist, and biologist, and he is well versed in the Hexagon, the strait-suit for prisoners.
In addition, Polaris possesses several alien combat techniques, is a professional extraterrestrial air transport pilot, and knows several alien languages. Yan also learned English, but initially he did not know it, and the AI in the costume had to translate for him.
Hexagon
Usually, power armors or suits are designed to help the wearer, protect him, and give him super powers, but not in this case.
The primary goal of S.H.K.A.R.A.L.U.P.A. (an unknown alien acronym) or, as the earthlings call it, Hexagon, is to restrain the prisoner. It disables his physical and superhuman abilities and makes him less dangerous to others.
Suppression
The main directives of the Hexagon are to suppress the host's abilities, making the prisoner weak and harmless. Initially, when Polaris was sent to Earth as a prisoner, the Hexagon blocked his size-shifting ability. However, later, the government decided to unlock it.
Molecular structure
Hexagon is an alien technology, and the exact principle of its operation is not known to earthlings. However, due to its structure, the suit is capable of changing its characteristics and properties to suit the wearer. For example, if the prisoner changes the size of his body, the Hexagon will change with him. Also, the prisoner is able to control the distribution of the suit over his body to expose, for example, his arms, legs, or head, but he can't completely remove the suit.
Hexagon's physical abilities
The Hexagon is made of an incredibly strong material that resembles something between metal and solid energy.
The suit cannot be damaged and is able to withstand powerful explosions, extreme high and low temperatures, and pressures. The wearer of the suit is almost impossible to squash. However, in order for the Hexagon prisoner not to be invulnerable, the suit has special receptors capable of transmitting physical effects from the suit to the wearer. That is, if the Hexagon is hit or fired from a weapon, then the suit will not be damaged, but the wearer will feel pain, and an explosion near the prisoner in the suit can stun him.
Observation
The suit has various built-in sensors. They allow the government to track the Hexagon prisoner and see and hear all the same things as the prisoner.
Gazer
Hexagon also has a built-in artificial intelligence named Gazer.
Gazer`s personality
Gazer has a cheerful and talkative personality; he is fun-loving, hyperactive, and childish. He loves to joke, speak in rhyme, and sometimes even sing, which constantly annoys Polaris.
AI has various functions, including the Internet, a translator, and much more. Gazer`s primary goal is to observe the prisoner, instruct him, and provide various pieces of advice. Although Polaris believes that Gazer was created solely to annoy the prisoner, make him angry, and drive him crazy,
Security measures.
Hexagon has various security measures in case the prisoner does not obey the laws.
The strait-suit has various functions for containment and the elimination of the prisoner in the suit. For example, paralysis, blocking abilities, deprivation of feelings, consciousness, oxygen overlap, and changing temperature inside the suit. The Hexagon for the prisoner can also be an electric chair or a gas chamber, and it has a self-destruct mode.
It is forbidden for Polaris to leave the Earth. In the event of a violation of this rule, the suit activates the self-destruction
Control
For the suit, there is a special remote control currently owned by the government. The device has a connection with the NASA satellite and has no restrictions on the operating range. When the remote control gets into the hands of the Hexagon prisoner, the suit is immediately blocked, thereby completely paralyzing the wearer.
Other
- The Hexagon is very light, and its structure is thin, which allows the prisoner to easily hide the suit under his clothes.
- Also, the suit has a bright color so that it can be easily noticed.
