Description
This character wasn't just on Impossibly-Me , it was the first character for the group Next-Generations that I'd ever make. An admittedly self-insert type of idea, as many imaginative minds latch onto the sort, she quickly grew past. It couldn't be done without the amazing friends I made once this character opened the door.

Name: Eva Celeste Romanova, or Evangeline Runica Brydottir

Parents: Adopted by Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, or Natalia Alianovna Romanova. Reconnected with biological parents Bry Frostbour and Alta Frejrdottir.

Age: 25

Alias/Nickname: Evie and Evange by her mother (Alta) and Evacado by her mom (Natalia).

Stance: Chaotic Good or Antihero, though she's never officially coined a calling card for her deeds.

Powers/Abilities:
She has an Asgardian and Jotun hybrid physique, with enhanced strength and resistance. Like many others, she can shift into a truer Jotun form but is of stunted size even for hybrids. She has talents in magicks, with tutoring from various sources. Her magic is better focused on elemental spells and casting, as her innate talent comes from being the goddess of Elemental Rebirth. Her Allspeak has returned in recent years, though she'd learned many languages on her own without it as well.

Orientation: Straight

Occupation: Librarian and one of the Professors' TA at the Unity University of Magicks and Their History

Personality: Eva is highly empathetic and previously dangerous for how volatile it could make her emotions. She's a Mary Sue in many senses, now with growth and maturity to her demeanor. Often distracted and thrown by emotions, a big part of accepting and growing to who she is was finding people to confine and speak freely with, creating a filter past the expanse of inner dialogue and self-reflection that can trap her in a spiral. She likes to keep to the shade, not retreating from the public and society but taking it in by bits at a time. Often the times of high energy can lead to emotional spikes, marked by fidgeting and taking longer to do or answer things. She loves with her entire heart, and once she's felt broken by someone it's never truly gone, no matter the healing. Her relationship is strained with her birth father because of that, torn by his love for her mother and his misdeeds regarding his past actions. Finding her half-brothers solidified the strain, with her growing quite close to Sindri and having a decent understanding of Oyvind, as he her.

Best Friends: A wide array of colorful people, though bonds have grown near to family at this point.

Significant Other: Fenrir Lokison ( Sapphire-Roz )

Fun Fact: As someone with sensory processing disorders and several emotional spikes, Eva truly is a self-insert in those ways. I've loved fantasy and superheroes forever, always preferring imagination to reality. Making things was a way to spike the emotions out that could be retconned and changed later, and still is. It's a sorely needed outlet that my disabilities will allow, a rarity for me, especially during the summer.

Backstory:
In this universe, Ragnarok happened, but not for the same reasons. Thor sent out scouts to check on the other worlds after it happened and ended up with two Frost Giant ambassadors. Bry, Eva's father was one. He fell for an Asgardian woman, Alta. They married quickly and had a daughter. What Alta didn't know was that Bry was already engaged. When their daughter was 2, the giantess he was engaged to kidnap her. Evangeline was her name, and it was no surprise that she couldn't say it all at age 2. So when she was dropped on Earth elsewhere by the giantess, she was known as Eva. She was taken in by S.H.E.I.L.D, but the giantess had cursed an arm brand she wore so that her heritage and most powers were locked away. They searched for the parents but didn't have a clue that she wasn't human. They thought she was just an Elementalist.
She was taken in by Natalia and raised by her. She never knew the reason her armband refused to come off, or why it grew with her. Natalia was a bit scared of her daughter being another pawn like her, so she refused to let her train for combat. She taught her how to defend herself, but begged her not to be a hero until she felt she was needed. Eva agreed, not wanting to see her mom distressed.
She was 9 when the collision happened. She wasn't sure what to make of it. Suddenly there were all these emergency calls drawing her mom away, all this confusion and frankly fear around. She ended up having nightmares from it.
When she was 18 she met her now-husband, Fenrir. Something felt scary familiar, and when she met Loki later on, it was figured out. Loki and Fenrir were able to break the spell on her armband, and she suddenly came into all of her powers at once. It wasn't a great experience, but Fenrir stuck through it. She eventually pushed him away out of fear, mostly because her father refused to teach her anything about her powers. She wanted to talk to Loki about them but didn't want him hurt. So she hacked into the S.H.E.I.L.D database and found a list of rumored, and confirmed, Frost Giants. The first name on the top of the list was Donavon Holiday. She knew nothing of the history between them, she just knew he was nearby. She panicked and ran. Donavon accepted the young girl into his house, immediately recognizing that she was his brother's daughter. He sat her down and heard her tale, and was furious. Bry had gone too far. He may have renounced the ways of Frost Giants, but this was his daughter! She had the right to know.
That started his mentorship with Eva. He helped her learn all she needed, even going so far as to tap into resources he had to help her learn about her other powers. Two of those resources were Natalia and Alta. After Bry drove away their daughter, Alta had had enough of him. She moved out of his house and in with Natalia because the two had grown to be friends during the time. Natalia followed the tracks Eva left and found Donavon. She was scared by the fact that he was a criminal, but Alta realized who exactly he was. Alta convinced Natalia to give Donavon a chance, and they all worked together to give Celeste the control and learning she needed. About 3 months later Donavon encouraged her to reach out and revealed that Natalia and Alta had been helping him. The first person she reached out to, besides her mothers, were Olivia and Ben. They had been with her through the whole journey, much like Fenrir. She wanted to talk to them first because she was scared she had hurt Fenrir too much. In reality, Fenrir had been not so patiently waiting, wanting his love back more than anything. He understood she needed to learn, but needed some time to realize why she felt she couldn't do it with him. He proposed a few days after she reached out, not wanting to ever lose her again. They had discussed it before the entire incident, and she was overjoyed. At this point, she was 22 and agreed. They talked to their respective parents together, besides Bry, and their wedding happened a little over 6 months ago.
