I've just found out about an area in Wales called the Mach Loop. It's wwhere the RAF practice low-level flying, as low as 100ft, and it's through some valleys. You can actually get higher than the jets, and there's some fantastic shots from the area. I'm already planning the trip.

Sounds Very Interesting, Where About
Is It, I Know Mid And North Wales Quite Well
I Know They Fly Very Low In The Valleys Around Cader Idris And
The Hills At The Back Of Barmouth.

It's a loop near Machynlleth.

I Know The Area Very Well Having Holidayed All Over mid And
North Wales For Years.

I Was Planning A Trip For This Weekend But Left It To
Late To Get A B & B Sorted Plus Im Skint As Usual So
