The “Xixaz” are an advanced race that have known about Earth, the Lamians, and the Ssou Qku Taq war the three races have been involved in for the past 9 years. Once a common language framework was set the truth came out. It seems it the Xixaz are the source of the Ssou Qku Taq sudden technological leap in weapons and spacecraft. While the Xixaz are Open and friendly land dwellers and the Squiddies are dour and suspicious water creatures the 2 races have been friendly for decades. The Xixaz are more advanced with open and inquisitive minds and looked upon the squids as a young race that needed help in a war with a savage aggressor. Only after they encountered human captives of the squids did they learn that the war of freedom they were supporting was really an invasion of human systems by the Squids. As a way of apologizing this ship brought diplomatic, science, technical and military teams ready to pass on information and technology to help in the war. They also began to pressure the Squids to begin mediation talks. The really shocking surprise was that the ship “The Striking Arm” was presented to the Earth as a gesture of goodwill and peace along with a full crew to help with the change over. Armed with a massive spinal particle beam, 12 torpedo tubes, 6 thermal lances and many AA turrets this ships most startling feature was it was fitted out more like a luxury liner than a warship but computer simulations show it would best any ship in the current earth inventory.
