Phew! This is what I have been working on for the past month, and now its finally done! Inspired by other artists on dA, I decided I too would do a drawing a day on post it notes, that would combine at the end of the month to create an interesting final image.
Alot of time actually went into this, and it's actually one of my proudest artworks I have done. I stuck to it, liked some of the ideas I was doing, and it kind of turned into a diary of pictures for me. It was fun to do definately, but I think I'll take a break for January. This took alot out of me. ^_^

Who inspired me into animation? Quite simply Disney. I used to love watching disney films growing up and wanted to do that. Also warner bros. shorts, and simpsons. Then when cartoon network came along, seeing shows like dexter and powerpuff girls had a great style to them.

Stunning and funny besides. So much detail and stuff going on! reckon I could look at this for an hour and still be noticing new things. The style is beaut. love the lion and the family [?] scene. the space goat is a scream and the bear shitting in the woods! *charmin*

lol glad you found so much amusement from it buddy. Yeh, me and the family, was a downer day that day cos my family had gone on holiday for 2 weeks, so it cheers me up. I did the charmin one after visiting their animation studio actually. And yep BBC test card. It was christmas, i couldnt be bothered for a great idea.

The frog with the lilypad umbrella is probably, actually.. my favorite. That and Batman marking up a sleeping Superman's face... and the Pacman thing.. soooo freakin' funny.

Thanks alot for the kind words. Yeh, see how I took some of the ideas you proposed? Some were a little hard to get across on post its though. The frog...i dunno where it came from, but glad you like it, especially when theres chance to milk it for money. lol t-shirts, get your t-shirts and mugs! ^_^
Its probably my proudest deviation to date. I'm glad at the response it had got. Its was a great creative journey for me, and something i will do again, maybe for just a week. I got a plan to gather artists to do 7 post its an d then put it tiogether for a giant deviation like this.

lol I was just joking, but since your interested, you just go to the daily deviations section on the main page and click on one of the admin who submit the DDs. You send them a note with the link to whatever deviation you think deserves a DD. I have tried nominating other people a few times, but no-one I choose gets picked.
I'll write a big journal about the Post-its, probably beginning of February, once I get my animation pre-production sorted.

Nah, I was never even mentioned on the Daily Deviation. Someone else had coloured my spiderman lines, and the colourist had the Daily Deviation for it, not me. The Admin didnt even mention me at all. Poo.

Nice. I keep toying with the idea of drawing something everyday, but it never quite happens, lol. I've finally started drawing once a week again after months of not drawing at all, so that's a small victory at least. Anyway, nice job (again).

well i had this crazy idea to do this post-it idea, but instead sign a couple of people up, we just do 1 post it every day for a week, or one every other day, or maybe a month to just do 7, all based on the same theme for each post-it, and then put them all together. less work for all artists, but will look amazing when put altogether. I will write up a journal with more detail later, could be the next monthly theme i guess too.
