Yay, it's Saurva's long-lost brother Stayne!
I'm actually not really happy with this page. The lettering totally looks off and the backgrounds are totally meh. Well, except for the first panel. That is SO GODDAMN DETAILED TOOK ME AGES TO MAKE AUGH MY EYES!!!! Let's see... The mysterious swirly patterns above the door is so hard to figure out. I can't even begin to tell what it's supposed to look like, so I had to replay the clip over and over to get what I had on the page and the designs on the door is a major pain in the ass. Surprisingly enough, painting the portraits hanging on the walls are easy and fun to do. The carpet patterns are just random flowery patterns I found online. If I had to hand-draw that my brain would explode. I still need my brain very much, thanks.
And also, Stayne's face. It totally fails in this page. It just screwed up. AND I JUST CAN'T GET OVER HOW EXPRESSIONLESS STAYNE WAS IN THIS SCENE!!!! He is so DEADPANNED that even statues are more expressive I'm totally giving him proper expression in the next pages. Screw canon, I'm already going off-canon by using material from the original script and the crappy comic.
See, Stayne grabbing Alice's arm is from that crappy graphic novel. In the movie he just sort of cornered her to the wall. He wasn't even touching her. Now that THIS already happened, you can be damn sure that what happens afterwards is gonna be different from the movie. To up the drama because this is shoujo manga style, for one, and also to feed my Stalice fangirl needs.

Good job! I guess it was very difficult to draw that, but you did a perfect work! The little Stalice fan that I am can't wait for the next page (I hope it will be coming soon!)

There's only one graphic novel for the Burton movie, so yeah, that one.
When Stayne looks like Dr Frank 'n Furter (Tim Curry) from the Rocky Horror Picture Show (particularly the Sweet Transvestite song) and everything else looks like coloured in half-assed scribbles, I have tons of reasons to hate that book. Which is why I did this in the first place. I'm a n00b artist. If I can draw better than those professional artists over at Disney, then something is seriously wrong.
