Related to my previous deviation "Totally Not Copying"I'm probably over-reacting since we all know how stupid fanfiction can be, but... seriously? This is so LOL-worthy that I just have to make fun of it. There are actually quite a lot of Phantom of the Opera-Twilight crossover in which Twilight characters are put into POTO situation. Ed Cullen as the Phantom, Bella as Christine, etc etc etc.
You just KNOW the story is going to be a disaster when in the first chapter you read about "Vicomte Jacob de Black" being the new patron of "Forks Opera House". I saw that in one of the fanfics and I promptly bolted. I don't want to know how they deal with the Phantom's disfigurement, since we all know that the Meyerpires are so BEAUTIFUL AND SPARKLY AND AWESOME AND BETTER THAN YOU.
Seriously. Erik has legitimate reasons to hate himself and be depressed. Edward is just being a stupid emo bastard. This crossover simply doesn't work!!!!

I have enough trouble with the Sues in regular Phantom phics... I can accept the whole "Erik is a vampire" concept in some phics as long as they're well-written, but this is beyond stupid. You can't have a Phantom without a distorted face, and Twilight reminded us of how perfect Edward is at least five times a page.
