Description In a parallel universe different from our own, people of otherworldly origins are simply humans on this little blue planet called Earth. Their origins differ from the origins they have here in our universe.
Majestic does not exist and supernatural beings are just myths and stories, while humanity still awaits official contact from worlds beyond ours.

---

On Planet Earth in this universe, a brilliant young scientist from India - known as Aseem Devar - had completed a modern wonder of the age; A device he called 'The Enlightenment'.
The Enlightenment possessed the power to turn humans into living gods, activating their full potential and allowing them to utilize newfound powers.
It was Aseem's hope that the device could be use to improve humanity for the better, restore Earth from the destruction continually forced upon it and accomplish wonders.
However, Earth's governments learned of the device after Aseem unveiled it and showed just a small portion of its power. Wanting the device just for themselves, governments across the planet demanded that Aseem hand over the device immediately.

Realizing the danger he was in and refusing to give up humanity's hope of a better future, Aseem made a final (and possibly foolish) choice to ensure his work wouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
After destroying all his research, Aseem began to broadcast live to YouTube - explaining quickly what his situation was and his plan to share the Enlightenment's power with the world. As the sounds of men breaking in began to echo in the video background, Aseem declared that no matter what, a rebirth would be inevitable.
Pressing several buttons on his device, the Enlightenment levitated into the sky before charging up and unleashing a shockwave of energy that circled across the entire globe. After this, the device self destructed.
Aseem - declaring his work was done and leaving his blessings for the future generations - turned off his video but left the audio running, before the sound of a gunshot rang out; quickly followed by the sounds of the door been broken down and various voices talking at once.

For a long time, it seemed that nothing had changed. Aseem's house was searched completely several times but all evidence of his miracle device was gone. Then, about a month after the shockwave, came the reports of people displaying various superhuman abilities from simple enhancement of normal traits, various psychic or magic abilities, gaining the physiology of other beings, etc.
The world soon became divided on this new development, as the Enlightenment's power had only affected ordinary citizens - regardless of their differences such as age, race, gender, etc.
The divisions ranged from slight to extreme, with religions either seeing their 'empowered brothers and sisters' (referred to in the media as 'The Diverse') as those who were miraculously blessed or seeing them as demons/mutants that needed to be locked away or killed. However, the greatest extreme came from the Diverse themselves.

A group of the Diverse soon made itself known, under the name 'Legion'. Legion was a Nazi-like organization whose views were that the Diverse were superior and should gain complete control of Earth, with any 'Normals' or 'Diverse' who disagreed to be enslaved or executed. The groups leader was a man who only identified himself as 'The Urban Tyrant' - with background information suggesting he was from the town of Scunthorpe in the United Kingdom, who had gained the power to manipulate urban environments ( powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Ur… ). The truth was, the man was a tormented individual who had been bullied harshly throughout his life. Upon gaining the ability to manipulate the urban environments, the man subsequently took brutal revenge against his tormentors before declaring that that Diverse were the next stage in humanity's evolution.
His powers, combined with his growing army of Diverse warriors ready to perform his bidding, has made him a deadly enemy, with all attempts to stop him ending in failure.

However, the Urban Tyrant soon became aware of a greater threat. Both Normals and Diverse from around the world had united to create a rival organization, known as 'Unity' - with their aims been for all humanity (regardless of them been diverse or normals) to work together for the benefit of all, as Aseem had originally envisioned.
The battles between the two groups spread far and wide, with losses for both sides and often innocents been caught in the crossfire, but with Unity winning the war. Eventually, the final battle took place in Los Angeles as Unity took on the remaining forces of Legion.
With victory within their reach, however, the Urban Tyrant then entered the battlefield - with his masterful control over the urban environment quickly forcing Unity back. However, a new challenger and a Champion of Unity's cause stepped forward.
A man from San Antonio in Texas - known to his allies as Marcos 'Stash' Martinez - openly challenged the Tyrant to one-on-one combat, with Marcos possessing the power to alter his physiology to that of a Thunderbird; providing him with enormous power ( powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Th… ).

The two mighty warriors clashed in an epic battle through and above the city - with both sides forced to flee as the city was torn apart by the two's powers colliding. In the end, Marcos triumphed and stood over his defeated foe in the ruins of downtown Los Angeles - Unity having finally won the war. However, the Urban Tyrant had one last card to play.
Having found a way to replicate the powers of Diverse members in a technological form, the Tyrant suddenly blasted Marcos off him before activating one of the 'power discs' stored in his armour. In a flash of fire and purple light, the Tyrant disappeared - traveling across the space between Universes before finding himself crashing down on a different version of Earth. Angered at his defeat, the Tyrant vowed that he would one day rule this 'new' Earth before returning to exact his revenge.

Alternate Future - Majestic Takeover
After a while adapting to this alternate version of Earth, the Urban Tyrant soon found himself meeting up with an organization that mirrored his own - Majestic.
Having declared their positive reactions to the Tyrant's powers, Majestic's Generals offered him the choice of becoming a leader of their forces - promising him her would be given his own land to rule over and all he would need before his return to his own Universe.
To sweeten their deal, Majestic stated his first target would be this universe's version of Marcos Martinez - who was instead an alien from the planet Argo and called himself Stash.
Enjoying the possibilities of what he could achieve, the Tyrant agreed.

First journeying to Stash's location, the Tyrant used Majestic's technology that he had been given to teleport Stash into a virtual version of Los Angeles before pretending to attack the city. Taking action to save the civilians, Stash was forced to enter battle with the Tyrant. However, the virtual version of Los Angeles that Stash had been forced into acted like a trap - preventing him from escaping. Just like Madam Ragnarok, the Tyrant used his new 'god-like' powers that he wielding in this virtual realm to weaken Stash while also allowing him to mimic Stash's Archean physiology.
Despite his best efforts, Stash was hopelessly outmatched; facing an opponent with both his abilities and the power to manipulate the entire city to his will, a hidden army of Majestic Shadow Troopers that would strike from locations all across the city and with his own powers gradually weakening as a direct result of the Tyrant.
The Urban Tyrant showed Stash no mercy - wanting to not only defeat him but to utterly destroy him. Helpless, Stash died in agony at the hands of a sadistic human murderer. Returning Stash's mangled remains back to his home with no trace of who or what caused his death, the Urban Tyrant returned to Majestic's base - bringing with him only Stash's severed head as a 'trophy'.

When Majestic began their takeover, the Urban Tyrant would be sent to attack Japan - been responsible for the destruction of Earth-United and the death of its founder, Jasmine. Seemingly true to their word, Majestic gave the Tyrant rule over the United Kingdom following their planet-wide victory. However, Majestic were only using him as a pawn while they moved to discover how to replicate his urban manipulation ability. However, a new hope has dawned, with the possibility yet that the Urban Tyrant can be stopped and this 'dark future' will become a faded memory...

Thank you. I'm glad you like it.
I love the idea of parallel universes, as you can change so much without affecting anything in the 'main' universe.

I may do a picture of you in the parallel universe at some point.

As for the 'alternate future' segment, it's only fiction at the moment. Jake ( ) has had a similar fate in this potential future, facing off against a dangerous enemy - fav.me/d76mn29
