Haaaaaaahhhhhhhhh...about...20 hours of work...and I'm FINALLY satisfied with this. was sooooooooo kind and was one of my first commissioners (once again, sorry for procrastinating. wasn't the end result worth it?) She requested her character Tiras (who is really lovely~ <3), and once again, I've shamelessly inserted an OC in as well. For good reason! These two are on-again-off-again lovers...and...the story's too long to put in here.Suffice it to say, this was fun to draw, once I got their poses figured out and managed to get the patterns for their kimonos. >A< And once again, I'm caught by the slight disparity between them: Ethan looking punk (you can't see all his piercings, sadly) and Tiras looking like he's walked out of Arthurian times. It's even funnier when you consider that they're in Japan for Ethan's job.
Alright, alright, I get it. "Enough jabbering, Flash!" There's just one thing left to say.
Ethan: *smirk* Real men don't just wear pink. They wear magenta.

I'm a bit miffed at myself that I haven't figured out a good way to shade the embroidery/brocade without blurring the detail work...*pout*

humm, you should try to add new layers and play a little with opacity or multiply, after some practice you'll find what you were looking for

I have the pattern on another layer, and I DID mess with the opacity. XD Then I went "screw this, just go with it. It's eye-popping."

Oddly, it's that sassy jerk aspect that Tiras loves. Or it could be more that... After being a couple for soooo long, he's learned to love all aspects of his Ethan.

Tiras does not mind at all thr getting laid part. I sometimes think Ethan found it odd that Tiras was so understanding about the times when he's asleep and Ethan has other lovers.

Yeah...while also feeling a mix of guilt over sleeping 'behind with others behind Tiras' back' and feeling like he couldn't just depend on Mr. Righty for the years between Tiras waking.

Tiras was more surprised by how... Attached both he and Ethan were so quickly. Seems most of the other Priests didn't have lovers really, and finding someone who could actually do that for beyond just one lifetime............
huh... He told me just now that one is kinda... Kept in a family... His alternate, since I guess currently there's only the two of them.
