"So...tired..." Tony sighed, leaning against the wall and closing his eyes, drawing his companion back against him to cuddle and relax. Only a few minutes before, he'd slogged through the snow to end up at Ashura's apartment, receiving a warm welcome from the surprised but delighted man. "You'd think I'd learn that my boss doesn't let up even on Christmas..."

"I'm sorry." The blind man smiled wryly and rubbed the arm lying across his stomach. "Hey, at least you've got enough time to come hang out for a bit, right?"

Tony shrugged a little and sighed again. "I guess."

For a while, the two men were silent, just listening to the fire crackle. Neither one of them noticed the mistletoe that Ashura's twin, Elihue, taped to the wall just above their heads.

"Tony?"

"Hmm?"

"Happy Christmas."
