Looks like a real forest I must say!! What plants and trees are you using mate? Your own or some highly realistic ones from Onyx?

You should not make mistakes. Sometimes (this is the case) that I mix some real trees with trees modeled in 3D. The branches of the trees in 3D, are often not as real as I want (and it seems easiest).
Both the mix after rendering them separately. Add real parts to render alpha channel and do both. The result is much more realistic than using only 3D trees. Must realize that the purpose of this type of image is not to use 3D only, but to create a fund as real as possible. This allows you to create photorealistic scenes(of course) with the shape and style you want.
In this picture is mixed.:
Trees modeled for me.
Trees made with Archmodels,
Xfrog Plants and trees
and trees and real trees silhouetted photographed.
