It is possible for Hellsing to make an appearance: after all, Alucard is also Vlad of Valacchia, which makes him an historical figure. Plus, when he came back after the thirty years time gap, he never said where he has been, only that he fought a war that killer all the souls he had inside.
Having died feeling hatred, and having immense super-natural powers, my theory is he would most likely be an Offscouring (or End): maybe he was summoned by Easy to be the trumph (Alu)card, but he proved to be an unsoppable loose cannon and, when they finally managed to annihilate his god-like powers, they sent him back to this world, thirty years after he left it.

Another theory is that Vlad died as it historically happened, was turned into an Offoscouring and made a vampire (which would make him a completely unique kind of vampire, explaining why he is so ludicrously powerful), because people thought Vlad would became one after death; same as the other theory, he proved to be uncontrollable, and so was sent back to his world as a Vampire; a few years have passed after his death, and he awakened from the grave as a vampire; centuries after, he set sail to London, and the rest is history.

these are very good points you have making it very possible old vlad would make an appearance in drifters, lets hope he does eh

I wish some "familiar" faces from the Hellsing series would some cameo's or full appearances but will wait and see.

of course you know lord hirano he is full of suprizes he may or may not bring in hellsing ^^ but concidering what drifters is, i would not be too sure hellsing has been written out

Okay, chapter 18 is dones, now waiting for 19! I noticed some characters looked a bit identical to our dearest Hellsing. Like I though Jeanne d'Arc for a moment looked like Zorin Blitz for a second, at least she's not as ugly as that massive bitch. And there was Easy, she looked an awful like Girlycard. Then there was Olmine, massive boobs to notice since Oda kept mixing her name and her bust in the same kind of reminded me of Seras... along with those elf boys. And Oda... for some reason kind of reminded me of Alucard, er, Vladcard. Vladcard just needs his hair tied back and an eye patch and it's a perfect match! Ha!
And that guy with the Black King, the samurai dude, what's his name, he reminded me of the Captain Hans! So cool, looking silent and broody but badass all the same. I'm beginning to think that this Drifters is gonna be the next epic win in Kouta Hirano's work. Just hope they don't take long with the anime as they did with the Hellsing OVA because then we'd become totally insane.
