Fluorite in Round 1 of Arrelline 's and Different-Art 's Designer Challenge.I will be completely honest. I do not like this piece. Right from the start nothing wanted to go right. And I was far from thrilled about the butterfly I was given, the Stichophthalma louisa. Not to mention the fact that the game refreshed at least twice on me, when I was halfway done a decent design.... So yeah, I really do not like this piece because of the stress this challenge put me through.
The only thing I'm even proud of is how I replicated the actual butterfly in her hair and neck pieces.
Here's hoping round 2 won't kill me the way this one did.

And one fun fact about the butterfly that you seemed to dislike. It belongs to Amathusiini tribe, what was named after the city of Amathus, one of the most ancient cities of Cyprus. Its ancient cult of Aphrodite was one of the most important and famous in Antiquity.

i know what a game crashing on u while doing something does on u, when that happens to me i also get really and and frustrated. but she looks nice, i like the pattern in the dress and the white and the hair

anyways its not the first time i have commented on someone doll saying that they look witch like, and they understand and agreed even saying that yeha it does,they didnt take it as an insult or anything..but u its liek u think its an insult. i dont know why, even if u dont agree its my opinion and its not a bad thing. and talking about the birthstone thing i think i just an an idea for it..if i have time maybe i will do it this weekend, so u wont have to worry about me using the same entry from the other contest

omg dont u understand that its the colors that remind me of witch colors, if u choose those colors black,orange its bc the butterfly also has those colors. the hair wasnt you who chose it but the color of it reminds me of witches bc if u think the theme colors of halloween is usually purple,black and orange.. also when i commented witchy in another person post that doll that person made was also suppose to be something else i dont remember what,but it wasnt a witch and that person still didnt get offended.

Look it wasn't my choice of butterfly and therefore not my choice of colors. Also, that's not orange. It's gold. And really, just stop. You're making things worse.

i know it wasnt your choice, i also didnt have a choice in my butterfly, and u dont see me being all pissy and insulted when someone is trying to say something nice about what u did,bc i have been commenting on everyone stuff, next time i will know not to comment on your stuff bc u never know what u could think and start again with these type of comments..and u were the one who started with the comments saying this and that bc i said witchy when i was trying to say something good about your doll, and the way u also commented on my emerald thing it, like i should listen to you and do what u want and dont use my emerald entry just bc i used in another contest. bc of that i should be the one feeling insulted and it was trying to reply to you nicely but my patience has limits. and im not making things worse im just replying to your comment u. --.

I like getting comments on my work. But the way you presented yours did not seem like a compliment of any sort. Just because you meant one thing doesn't mean it will be taken that way. Usually 'witchy' doesn't come off as a good thing, especially when my piece has nothing to do with Halloween or witches. In fact, it's the complete opposite. It's meant to represent spring. If I had been going for a mage design, that would be one thing. But again, I fail to see how any of it represents 'witch' because I was trying for nothing other than recreating the butterfly, as per the challenge.

but the way u also commented on me in the emerald and replying to me after i said witchy seemed that u were being mean and insulting too and not a compliment too, if i could find the other art work i commented witchy that was from someone else that also hadnt anything to do with witches u would understand. also how is something being witchy seen as a evil or bad thing, there are good witches, and when i said witchy i meant a good thing and a sassy thing and different bc of the colors and the look on her face, if i find that other thing i commented on from the other person i will send it to you, so u can see that it also didnt have anything with witches or mages etc and the person still understood and agreed with me.

You think I don't know that there are good witches? I'm a witch myself. I've stated that I got mad that you called it witchy when that wasn't my intent. I don't care how others responded to you saying the same thing about their works. My issue is that this is a BUTTERFLY. NOT A WITCH.

its suppose to be a butterfly but i can interpret it like a witch, in that case it was only the colors and hairstyle that reminded me of a witch, i could see the butterfly in it too, but not everything u see its what really is, when i looked at it i could see some stuff from the butterfly too like the colors. but those same colors also reminded me of other stuff.
