Other problem is sometimes even obvious criticism is taken like an insult by the artists themselves. I had experience with those kinds of people, not just trolls.

ohh yeah thats true too.. but thats another story already, though xD but anyway. those are just people who wants to be the best, everything must have the best and dont dare to way anything else to them :/ i take these people like 13 years old xD

But yes, they often hint they are annoyed by it but it doesn't really excuse them though for behaving that way. Usual reply is always "I am just frustrated at myself" and all that to make you feel sympathetic at times.

sometime even people around 18 act like that, but i jsut said the minimal age that is accepted on DA xD nevermind XD
and really? xD i never met anybody saying that though xD i maximally met thieves that their excuse is "i stole it because i have problems in family" xD

it's kind of rude to me since it doesn't really excuse them to say hurtful things or call you a snob when you are just trying to be a respectable artist and critic it right. They just look arrogant bitches who take anything negative no matter how small it is like a stab on the back.

Well that inevitable, even with trained professionals. The difference is knowing when something is purely opinion and which isn't.
