This picture is very busy and I suggest that you don't just glance at it, because the rush of colors and text and outlines will cause a massive loss of brain cells within you.Soooo, Danny's 50 now, I believe I read. HUZZAH.
This year, the Eds take Danny out to dinner and negotiate about the movie. ...Danny probably shouldn't be smoking in a restaurant, but... I think it helps the expression. XP
Before anyone asks, the movie's set to come out next year on Cartoon Network and be 90 minutes long. There are no other details so don't try beating them out of me.

I love how both of the requests made in this drawing came true in the movie. XD Eddy got a kiss from Nazz and Edd wasn't shown hatless!
I never wanted to see what's under Edd's hat, it's better that they left it to be whatever the fans want it to be. If you're desperate to see him hatless in the show, though, you can see through his showercap at the beginning of 'Over Your Ed'.

Haha, everyone's blind to it, somehow. XD People like to say it's not canon because it's very early in the series or because the shower cap may be distorting it, but if people want an answer so badly, they should accept that one, at least it stays in continuity with all the times we've seen his forehead while hatless and it's still open-ended enough for people to make some of their own theories about it.

Also, in one of the older episodes, the one where they try to get free jawbreakers from Kevin, when they dress like him, 3 of DOUBLE-DEE's hairs are sticking out IN FRONT! Of course, the other two have hairs sticking out, but this is Double Dee we're talking about! The one who never goes in public without a hat!

I know, it's crazy! So he has at least 6 hairs and some kind of bald (likely in the same sense that most of the characters don't have much visible hair)/lumpy/maybe-a-scar combo.

I like Eddy getting Nazz only because I pity Eddy. It'd probably be better if none of the Eds got Nazz, but they found out who she liked, and then teamed up, in a fit of rage, to assassinate her crush. Their plan wouldn't work of course, but I'd love to see the mood of the movie change suddenly like that. XD

The only problem I can see with the movie is that the series just has way too many mysteries for all of them to be concluded. I'm sure the movie's going to shove so much awesome down our throats that we'll be lucky if we don't asphyxiate with happiness by the end, but still.... The movie sounds to be mainly focused on Nazz. I don't see how they could also tie in the various mysteries about Eddy's brother, Rolf, Plank, and the plethora of other possessed inanimate objects (the boomerang and the cursed phone, for example). Not that they said they'd tie those in, but... it's most likely the end of the series, they can't go out without an explanation of Plank or Eddy's brother! Maybe they can ignore Plank, but Eddy's brother doesn't even have a name!

I don't mind the movie being focused on Nazz. I always thought she had potential as a character, but she just fell into the stereotype of being a ditzy cheerleader because she's blonde and pretty, which unfortunatly is why tons of fans hate her. I can't wait to see how they develop her!
So far all I've heard is that we're going to find out who Nazz has a crush on and what's under Double D's hat. I'm not even sure I want to know that much! It's much more fun leaving that sort of thing to the imagination.
I don't think there is much to say about Rolf and Plank anyway. Rolf's from some old world country and Plank is Johnny's security...floor board...

It's not that I'm upset about Nazz being the focus. I'm one of the few people who are glad she's finally get some character development. And it's not even that I want a lot of revelations. It's just that the show has started so many story archs and mysteries, and ending without at least telling us where Eddy's brother went would seem disgraceful, unless they DID get another season and could fuel that finale with THAT mystery.
I'm not talking about the "where's Rolf from?" mystery, there's just some kind of power he seemingly has. He was the only one affected by the boomerang who DIDN'T enter a different mindset and was completely aware of his situation. He also has a dungeon, controls fire, is the owner of many medieval weapons, and so on.... There's something not quite right about him and Plank. They've both got their secrets....

There are suppossed to be a couple of specials, although I'm not sure if they're going to be aired before or after the movie. My guess is that if the fans complain to Cartoon Network enough, Ed Edd n Eddy will run for a long time. But who knows?
He was affected in the Boomerang one. He became one of those "blow-heart singer types" as Eddy put it. And the dungeon and weapons are just exaggerations of him being old-world. It's a cartoon: exaggeration is key. Same thing with his control of fire. Pure cartoon fun and gags.

I'd put my money on college, since there's a college banner in his room. Apparently he goes to some place called "P.U." Either it's a gag prop just for the audience or a gag prop in the show as well (Eddy's bro could've liked novelty items). Still, it'd be nice to have a conclusive debriefing on Eddy's brother's life, or even just an obvious explanation of how he molded Eddy, since very few people have gathered that Eddy's brother taught Eddy the same way Eddy taught Jimmy, and that, since Eddy has been scamming since he was a toddler, his brother essentially tortured a baby until it became con artist.
The two specials are each 11 minutes long and are supposed to air this summer (although autumn makes about as much sense). They're not really specials in themselves, they are mostly just episodes that survived the scrapping of season 6.
When I say Rolf wasn't affected, I mean that he was the only one of the affected who knew that something was wrong. Jimmy, Sarah, Ed, Edd, and Eddy all became completely new characters, without any idea that the boomerang had changed them. Rolf, however, knew completely that he was NOT a singer and even wove pleas for help into his song. And yeah, I guess a lot of it can be explained as cartoon exaggeration, but Rolf seems to have something to do with all the possessed inanimate objects. The boomerang doesn't screw up his thoughts, just his actions, he's the only person who hasn't accepted Plank as a living creature, and he owned the cursed phone.
It's odd that I want so many revelations, as I've never cared about Edd's hat, where Peach Creek is, what Plank's incriminating photo was, where Rolf is from, or most of those other big questions among the fans. I mainly just want exposition. We got some great exposition in 'Every Which Way But Ed' (the story behind Jimmy's retainer and how Edd met Ed and Eddy [the story behind the crack in Plank's head doesn't really matter, but at least we know what Plank sounds like to Jonny from Eddy's impersonation of him]), I'd like to see what they could do with the bigger questions in the show.

Hmm...that's true, I doubt it will be explained in the movie though. It wasn't an on going thing like Edd's hat or anything. Maybe it's just because Rolf is the oldest member of the cul-de-sac or something?
I don't think Eddy has accepted Plank as a person either. Edd for that matter, he just plays along to keep Johnny's ties to reality in tact.
I'm just looking foward to the usual cartoon fun I get from the show. It's one of the few running cartoons that I like anymore and there hasn't been an episode I haven't enjoyed. So I'll be happy either way as long as the good guys at AKA keep doing what they're doing.

The first of the two specials was supposed to have its animation finished in June, and I think the other couldn't have been too far behind. (who I'm sure you know is a storyboarder on the show) told my friend that an episode would most likely air this summer. So I think August seems the most likely for it to air, especially since there isn't much else for CN to make a special event for in the holiday-less month.
I think Edd and Eddy USED to not accept Plank, but these days they've gotten used to him being POSSESSED. I mean, even the teachers don't notice anything wrong with a board taking notes in their classes.
I'm certain the movie will be insanely awesome. I always love a good plot twist, and something tells me the movie will be full of them. XD

I don't think it's as much accepting Plank as a person, as it is just being used to the hunk of termite food and Johnny's friendship with it. Honestly, if I knew a kid who hung around chunks of wood for friends, I wouldn't have the heart to tell him that two by fours are not people...

I HOPE it's in August, but there's no telling how long CN will hold back the episodes. The last 3 half hours of season 5 were finished several months before CN decided to actually AIR them.
Still, how does the school faculty not consider Plank a weapon? I'll ignore that Kevin and Edd shouldn't be wearing hats in an American public school (I know there's some debate over their country, but America really is the most likely, even though AKA is in Canada), but normally students aren't allowed to carry large pieces of wood around the school. XP

EEnE has so little support from CN it's a sin. Why they didn't get on the ball after "Best Day Edder" got the highest ratings all year, I have no idea. Executives are stupid. I mean, I'm amazed that "My Gym Partner's a Monkey" has lasted this long!

Indeed, other shows would get a sixth season AND a movie. I know Danny didn't mind replacing season 6 with a movie, but you'd think CN would at least give him the option of both. That way it would have been more fair that EEnE didn't get 78 episodes like other shows.

Oh! I just thought of some Nazz things they should bring up in the movie: her eating habits (I know they covered that she was fat, but she's starting to eat a lot again, as if it's foreshadowing something) and the origin of her name. In 'Boys Will Be Eds', she says "Victor changed his name to 'Nazz', just like me!" While it just seems like poor wording, it COULD very well mean that Nazz isn't REALLY her name. And even if that WAS just poor wording, it'd still be nice to know what her parents were on when they decided to name her THAT. XP
