Description
Here are several different variations of griffins. I like to make hybrids of the different kinds of creatures, and such mythical creatures as griffins give a lot of opportunities for fantasy. ^___^Hope you'll like it.

My favorites are the Harpy Eagle, the Secretary Bird, and the Vulture. But really, all of them are wonderful.

These are amazing! I love the idea of making mythical animals that would fit perfectly into real-world environments. These guys are very well-matched in the bird and feline species. Great job!

I just wanted to say how much I love this collection of griffins!Β I'm so crazy obsessed with griffins.Β One of the things I like best about them is, as you said and illustrated here, there are endless creative possibilities.Β Not only with species combos, but in the way they are blended together.
And wow!Β These are so well done and real looking!Β I can't pick a favorite.Β The house cat/song birds are really adorable.Β The long legs of the secretary bird/cheetah are very elegant.Β The three in between those, I'm not completely sure what cat/bird combos they are, but they are really cool and unusual looking.Β
One thing I really love that you did, is when you put talons on the wings, and put paw-pads on the talons.Β A wonderful way to blend feline and avian together!!Β That's a great idea.Β
I wish I could draw the griffin and griff-like creatures I come up with.Β XD

Please don't get me wrong, but its not really THAT creative to stick two already existing animals together, to make a griffin out of it, especially if you used animals that live in a similar environment. Therefore "copyrighting" it is a bit unfair, don't you think? I for example have had the exact same idea of making a secretarybird/cheetah griffin and I have already seen a few people who made the rather obvious connection between a jaguar and a raven & a Harpy and a snow leopard.
Just saying.

I do not pretend ownership rights to kinds of already existing animals and of course I do not pretend the right of other people to create their own combinations of griffins. Want to create your own? I will not say a word against. I have received several proposals with a request to sell/use these griffins and I just do not want these images has been copied or used in any way. Maybe I'm just wrong put it, because English is not my mother language. :C

I also love to create hybrids of all kinds, lately I've been asking my friends to write down 4 different animals and did sketches, it's a lot of fun
Even funnier when after some time they started to add some plants or even objects xD

I have never seen a hoopoe in art, especially in gryphon form. It looks so awesome! I love the bird and the art you portrayed here. Wonderful!
