Description
Bead Embroidered Necklace.Inspired by the volcano, Hekla, on Iceland
Materials: A bunch of black beads in different sizes, shapes and finishes, accompanied by some gun metal colored beads. Focals used for this piece are 8mm round garnet cabochons, 8mm Swarovski crystal chatons, 8mm hematite cabochon and a shell fossil. The lava effect is mainly created with 3mm Swarovski crystal bicones in different red and orange shades. The fringe, to create the lava effect sprouting out from the crater is mainly created with 3 and 4mm Swarovksi crystal bicones and 11/0 seed beads by Miyuki in red and orange silver lined color/effect.
Heh, thought i would never use this large amount of Swarovski crystals ever in one piece, first time and there's easy over a 1000 pieces in there

I'm not sure if it's a question of patience when it comes to me - I'm rather impatience in a lot of things. I think it has more to do with stubbornness as I tend to get an urge to do something the moment the idea pops into my head and then I just HAVE to finish it

haha ok I am usually stubborn too, but I dunno if I one day be stubborn enough to create such things
but I have still to learn a load of techniques. I didn't get beyond basic peyote, tubular peyote, RAW and basic ladder stitch.
next will be cubic RAW and eventually herringbone. I tried that before but I don't get the hang of it yet.
So I let my fingers of such complicated jewellery as yours
