Because there is already a lot of sad images of Derpy around, thanks to some moronic trolls that want to ruin the fun by banning her from the show or changing her voice/name.But I'm sure everything is going to be just fine! Derpy won't go anywhere, we just won't let it happen.

depends on what version of derpy you like. i personally like the one where she is just a little clumsy but shes not stupid. also i read that the main reason for the voice change was because the actor didnt know that derpy was a female at first and tried to sound like a boy she knew. So the second voice is actually her real voice. i expect a lot of hate coming my way now.........

I agree with you. I got a little mad that they got rid of her name, but I like the idea that she is just clumsy because her depth perception is affected by her eyes. Her second voice was way too generic, I didn't like it much, but I never liked her first voice that much either TBH.
I like that version of Derpy better mainly because in many countries she wouldn't be considered legally capable of raising a child and the guy that impregnated her would be charged for raping someone that is not considered able to give consent (as much as I hate this kind of concept, as a Law student, I have to take it in consideration. That's not my opinion at all, but I like to avoid conflict and I'm sure Hasbro also does), and I like the idea that Dinky is her daughter and that she is romantically involved with the Doctor.
