well it is so magical and beuatiful that i thought that the two details I see can so easily be corrected and make it even more perfect
hon, what i see about the top notch professionals is that the hair is always perfect, hair makes a piece and you have good technique but in this case I would have made my life easier by painting less complicated hair, you are not obliged to follow your reference that way. So if you do the hair like you see it you must take the utmost care that in the middle of the hair space no lose strands start from nowhere and you have a few and it shows which is a pitty on such an enchanting beautiful artwork. a new strand or hair can start in the middle but then it has to be behind the lock if comes under from. I hope this is clear for you, you have some hair that start nowhere and go nowhere and if you look at the professionals they never have that little flaw.
I know this is so much work, on complicated hairdos i often paint 5 hours, like my viking girl or vanessa lake and I check and check to see if all is good and i am sure if i check today, i will find some of those hairs also going nowhere coming from nowhere. So it is better to do like most and make the hair a simple mass with some highlights, that way there are no mistakes. But let me also tell you that blonde hair is, for a reason still unknown to me, much harder to paint, I prefer auburn or black, blonde is terrible.
There this is my advice on this piece hope it is not too harsh to you and that you do not hate me for it
but i cannot say it enough, it is so so beautiful, i am utterly jealous

my pleasure i sure will tell you the things i see hon in the future, people do that for me too and I need them!
but I have an advantage, I love love love drawing the hair! I cannot wait till I get there, it is a feast for me, so I guess we differ there, I love faces too, especially the eyes, but the hair frames the face, it is so important!
I have a simple hair tutorial, the professionals would kill me if I posted it but it works
omg i am tired lately, i promised this to someone, was it you?
must go and find it
see you after milan
