This is perfect for what I need today. You know, I've never seen anatomical drawings go into such depth with the TOE tendons! 8O
And then there's the pencil texturing and shading, which from an artistic standpoint alone is glorious.
So, if you do ever get around to publishing that book (especially in a .pdf format for a, eh-heh, reduced price for those of us without the finances to even pay shipping on a self-published book), I'd love to own a copy~ {8D
(It would be doubly fascinating to me - I'm a veterinarian in training and the specific anatomy of each species in my classes has been sadly neglected in favor of generalizations!)

You should publish a book. There are many books on dog anatomy already, and many "How to draw" books (that usually make art look like crap crud due to a lack of anatomy study), but I have never seen one combined.
Be prepared, though, for tracers. I have seen people check out art books from the library and just stick a paper up to it and trace. Sadly to say, they get more attention for being a "better artist" than people who actually try.

Agh, I have had so much trouble with drawing canines from the front.

That would make a great book idea! I would defiantly buy it since while I'm best at drawing canine like creatures, I still think I could do better.

If you do make a book I would like to request you note me about it so I can purchase one. I cannot find any good dog anatomy resources anywhere, and my own dog is a challenge to observe ;_;

Wonderful drawing.
I so want to own that book if you make it. General books on animal anatomy just don't work well for artists. They often don't show the whole side of an animal, just the leg or foot muscles, which makes it bloody hard to use for drawing.

Very useful, I'd say. c:
I just love those books that are all, 'How to Draw blah blah blah!' and you get a book full of fur techniques and shit.

Oh, very nifty. This is the kind opf drawing that actually helps somebody understand anatomy and cope with it. Much more than any photograph.

I like this a lot, pretty helpful. If you do make a book be sure to get some semitransparent pages to make overlays with skeletons and layers of muscle and such.
If you do I will be sure to buy a copy. :]

I've seen it done in a human anatomy book, which I would have bought if I could have afforded it. D: I don't remember the title but if you like I can hunt it down again and find out who the publisher is for you.
