That theme was epic and genius! Why genius? Because the developers realized Blizzeta was the only boss in the game where you didn't stun and then whack with your sword. Usually, during those segments, the badass theme plays. So, instead, for the second half of the fight, they made the badass theme the chorus!

I've always hated fighting this boss, mainly because you get little traction and it's tedious to smash those smaller ice monsters just to get to the platform
