これは本当に素晴らしく、美しく、儚いです。
私の比較的近所で上演されている事を知り、更に嬉しさが広がります。
鏡花は、私の最も愛する作家です。
玉三郎さんと寿三郎さんは、彼の世界を壊す事無く、誇張しすぎる事無く、美しく再現して下さるので、安心して(期待して)拝見する事が出来ます。

残念ですね、私のお知らせは遅くなりました。でも今でもまだちょっと見られるし、横浜なら（私二年前一年間横浜ですんでいました）東京の東劇ビールは松竹Cinema歌舞伎の本店だから、よく上演やります（歌舞伎座の向こう側）
玉三郎は本当に珍しい存在ですね。

Art overall the world has served that purpose partially: to elect female beauty to an unreachable high piedestal, at least I think so. Western paintings for example, or poetry.
But I say, us, humans, need such high ideals to which we can strive, they motivate us to be better and better.
And yes, he is simply beautiful.

Yeh, well these ideals served patriarchal order... women weren't allowed to create their own ideal of themselves ^_^; but some of these *idealized images* are lovely controversial.
I love how contradictory and ambiguous onnagata is, on one side creating the socially acceptable image of a woman, and yet bending the gender, and while being men becoming objects of the gaze (sometimes female gaze) themselves.

I'm all for equality for women, but there are actually people who would like to turn the whole dominance thing over and believe that women are superior to men.
I don't think that gender or any box for that matter can say how much worth a single person is. It's far more complicated than that.
So I don't hate feminists, nor do I laugh at them, I just don't like extremes.

He is always new, depends on the cast as well. He feels like teacher with Ebizo, I think I once saw him being a bit pissed - at least during the performance, the whole stage was his - and all ataention from Ebizo he managed to distract, kinda... Though during other performance, he seemed so small and fragile and made Ebizo shine in return. Hard to explain~
Then this time he felt really comfortable with the other people, as if he really enjoyed the atmosphere.
With Nizaemon they feel as if they play off each other, or live more like it - they do have a feel of old lovers, such harmony and passion...

This year I think it will be Germany for me, one of my favourite bands will have an acoustic tour of their best album (ASP - Zaubererbruder). But who knows, maybe next year.
