It's very beautiful. I love how his hair blends with the smoke/water. It gives the picture a very mystic feel. I bet the original looks even more pretty, with all the golden color <3

something's blocket on mozila at home so i can't freely view all arts on dA.

it's a beautiful, the contrast orange-brown to blue.
i like this a lot, your typical white outlines, the smoke..... and the flying pisces....

what do they represent?

ahh yeah I think i put a mature content on this one, not to mess with DA policies

Well koi (the fishies) are usually symbols of masculinity and prosperity, and just very popular in japan in general - they live in every pond at every shrine, temple or personal garden ^^ <3 I like them a lot, they are also like pigeons, when you come closer to water they come to you and as if asking for food - so amusing <3

actually on this one there isn't a major content, on the next deviation you've put is.
i can see this one if browsing through opera or IE.

the koi are beautiful, thanks for telling me this, you are well informed about Japan.

Beautiful! The style is fresh, but seamless with your other work. I adore the use of paper as the midtone, as usual, and your expressions (and eyes!!!!) are amazing.

Lovely work.

Yeah I love using various papers, they are so much fun!
And still inventing all kinds of things to do with yours... I'm so afraid to mar the sheer beauty of your pages...

Don't be afraid-- nothing you could do would qualify as "marring" the paper. and besides, I will so make you more!!

I do love your work-- I'm glad that you share it.

yeh.. come to think of it - I really don't like this combo in say clothes.. you know there is this obnoxious contrast darker brown and light blue which is frequently used in classic patterns - and then I saw a few drawings with blue and beige.. and got a second thought about it - now I like it, will try some more ^_^ <3 Had an urge for slightly cooler colors , something crisp and fresh.
