I was ten (I think) when I played Pokemon Crystal and it something like "Meh, just another gym leader."
Now it's Heart Gold six years later and he's all bishounen and I'm like "...Wow, he's cute."

I have always loved him because he's a flying type leader, he's badass, he loves birds as much as I do and such, but since HGSS my love for him was over 9000. I literally exploded.
