Commission for
22 Nov 2016 - edit - I was asked to add the wings to the character and by that occassion I worked much mroe on the details of the artwork. I especially changed Pyrea's face, since I was not really happy with it and I wanted to rework it anyway. I hope you'll like the new version as I do.

Pyrea is tracking someone and the trail leads her to the forest. I hope you can see the warm sun and feel the breeze by looking at this scene, I really wanted t capture the warm feel of summer here!

I think that the darker colours and change in expression give it more intent. the previous one was beautiful but seemed more light hearted. This one looks more like a hunter.

I like the rework to a point. I have to say I was at a loss to see what was going on with her left arm until I looked at the original. I think the addition of the extra tree foliage is a distraction here.

It's very intriguing. I really like the mix betweenthese two landscapes. It gives me the feeling that she is leaving the mundane in order to enter a more magical and mystical place.

Really love the colours you chose for this piece, I think perhaps it is a tiny bit too heavy in the blues to the right of the piece be very warm? But the beautiful gentle brightness of the beach really does speak of warm summery days. And I love the gracefulness in the characters pose.
