I really have to start thinking of more creative titles! hahaSo I drew this manly to try and see what i could do with the hair besides just shading it all one colour.
I sketched the drawing a little too hard and couldn't remove some of the sketch-marks :C
First time doing anything like this with the hair! and also the first time using a Tortillion (just a rolled up a piece of paper) for blending besides my finger.
These Derwent pencil I've got are really, really soft; the sharp point i got on the pencils just crumbled away onto the paper and made it hard
To do the eyes :S
btw i found a faber-castell 6H pencil! (hard to erase for some reason)

- What do you guys think i need to improve on?

"Oh oh oh do me! Do me!"Β heheΒ Β That scene was great..Β At the time those two eps were my favourite of the whole entire MLP:FiM series.Β It was the first really great 'actual' villain, that nearly defeated the mane 6. The first real solid drama in the show; that was, for me at least, a "woah?!Β this is a show for little girls.....Β I don't think so." type moment.Β Β Love the expression and her eyes, very nice!

I have a feeling they kinda are now..Β I know in the beginning Lauren was big on not overly sugar coating things and y'know make it classic funny like Looney Tunes and have Twilight stretch like rubber and stuff.. But now I think they're taking that into consideration and where their major fan base is kinda sorta is, and perhaps a little bit of; "well... we got away with that reference, let's try this!!"Β type thing.

I luv the mane! it looks exactly like flutters. her expression is cute too!
for tips the front of the body needs to be slimmed down a little, a teeny tiny bit. also to make it better you could also try shading the whole body to make it super awesome.

Im still scarred of shading in general, i really have no idea how to shade
Β oh and the front body ended up being a bit wider because i decided to put some fur there.

Your sketching style is very cool, and you captured her likeness perfectly.
Any advice? Hmm. Well, I think her wing could do with being pulled in a bit so that it hugs her body more. As it is, it looks like it's kind of sticking out to the side. I didn't notice until I was looking for it though
