hmm if yoyu use photoshop, try making a new layer for shading (unless u already do this) and try lowering the opacity a bit as well as the flow. color the whole area you want to shade, the let up on the button. start again but this time color a smaller area but still close to the edge of the lighter area. Continue with this and the shading should look the way your doing it, but probably a bit easier. if you figured this out then nvm haha. jus tryna help

I do shading on several different layers but the problem is my working computer has an excellent screen resolution, whereas my posting/internet computer has a terrible screen resolution. It changes the colours and everything is just so dark.
But I'm working on the problem

lol no not really XD sorry bout the confusion! what i meant was for shading to be easier, you could just change the opacity and flow to lower. If you mess around with it enough I think you can draw the shadows of your drawings easier. ^^
