tumblr 2015 was basically The Year All My Entertainment Conspired to Systematically Destroy My Emotions..... I wish I were joking but that's honestly how I'm going to remember it. It's okay though, I love it when children's shows cause me pain! That aside, I found this a very funny and clever movie; it immediately became my favorite Pixar film for its lighthearted and relatable handling of the concept.
I've mentioned before that moving has had some significant effects on my life , so watching Riley go through the stages of adjusting to a new house pretty much brought back all those memories, now with a filter of colorful characters for easier categorization. I'm pretty sure this movie affected me so much because of how my brain immediately internalized its concepts and applied them to my own life ahaha.....
I really liked how this movie made it easy to visualize and describe mental states; I feel like I'm seeing more kid-friendly entertainment these days with a focus on empathy and compassion, which can only be a good thing.

I think the emotions will be just happy again when Joy learns to let Riley feel for herself but also let her emotions guide her. Most of inside out is Joy trying to keep Riley from getting hurt but you need to skin your knee to learn that tripping hurts and other such analogies. To put it simply, you can't know Joy without knowing Sadness and that its okay to feel sadness sometimes.

I enjoyed watching this movie but I have to say I really love how much of a positive impact that it's had on people going through tough times or have been through tough times. I've even heard Inside Out has even allowed people just to be able to better explain whats going on inside of them mentally. It's just Fantastic!

That is exactly what I like most about it too. I'm really happy this movie was created; it seriously does make it easier to identify and explain feelings and mental states, and the message of accepting and managing emotions instead of rejecting them is a positive one too. Fantastic work indeed.
