Have you, personally noticed any differences in the climates of Nevada, Arizona, southern California, etc?

Difficult to say since it was a few years ago, but I remember Las Vegas felt a lot warmer, and not as windy. I remember it still being very warm outside even late in the evening. Never been in Arizona though, and we were mostly around Fresno, and not southern California.
