Description If I can't fix this problem, I'll still send out chapter 4 part 1 on Sunday, even though I stated that nothing will come out until Spring Break. That being said, I can still make comics, it's just that I can't use my 1-2 hour breaks to make them anymore, or edit them if they need editing. I really hope I can fix this problem.

Another solution is to split my chapters into small parts. But the problem is that the slides will still disappear, and I REALLY DON'T LIKE IT WHEN I CAN'T EDIT THEM OR HAVE THEM IN MEMORY ANYMORE.

Just to put it into perspective, I saved this particular message and closed create.swf. I opened it again and it wasn't there. I only have the snapshots now.

Update 3/3/2013:

I would like to thank all of you who commented on this comic. Stevo's solution worked! I can't believe I forgot that it was a Flash, and Flash programs have a limit on how much you can save on it. Again, thanks to all for helping me, and a big TYVM to Stevo!

Right click the window, go to "Settings..."

A box will pop up. Click on the flap with the picture of a folder. That's Local Storage. Crank up the notch all the way so storage will be "unlimited."

Now it won't happen as long as you use that comp.

From what I found out that is if create.swf has too many things saved, the latest will be deleted, so what I did is delete the ones you don't need anymore.

I only have about 45 slides saved. Is that too much? Sometimes I'm still able to save more things into create.swf. I'll use save.exe and try cleaning things out. Thanks for responding.

>45 slides
...Dude... that's a liiiiittle overboard, try not to get so many out and write down the idea in mind. That way, when motivation comes, strike hard on the idea and screensave the idea.
Another choice would just be screenshotting only one slide and changing it. But even that's too tedious.

Each comic is about 20 slides long, and I have 2 on there (+ a small test). I do have a storyboard all written out, it's just that I don't like just saving the picture without having the create.swf slide saved. With the original file I can edit it if needed.

Just saying something to see if it's a little easier. Though I have to ask, if you're not on Create.swf for a while( like couple days. ), does all the slides and characters disappear?

It's more like I save them but they don't get saved. I can access them with create.swf (the parts are all there and the scene and everything), but once I click the close button they disappear instantly. Stevo made a really good point about increasing the memory for Flash, because that's exactly what should happen if Flash doesn't have enough save space allocated to it. TBH I haven't had the time to try out his solution so this might already be solved. Thanks for spending the time to comment on my problem.
