Description
A young Noldo sees the snow for the first time.'Los' means snow in Sindarin. My last submission for 2014! I went back to my usual method of colouring and I'm quite sure it works better for me. I ran into some troubles with lighting once I put the background in, not sources or anything, just balancing them out. But I honestly think this is the best background I've done. I realised how similar the composition of this was to my first attempt at digital realism, Out of the Shadows , and had to laugh at myself. The past seven months have gone fast.

Not much to say. Good facial anatomy, beautiful soft colors. Maybe work on the expression. If she is seeing snow for the first time she should look more in awe. Maybe she should be looking upwards. I don't know. It looks beautiful, nonetheless
