It's been a while since I last drew with my tablet, so here's a little quickie...

I think this thing demand some explanations
( if you don't feel like reading, let's say it's just a creepy little furry thing )

I've been wanting to draw it for a long time, and I like how it turned out. I like the sketchy look of it. Even though I suck at drawing hair/fur. ( yes, its face is covered in fur. and no, there's no mouth. I'm not even sure there's a nose D: )

Explanation time !
This little creature came from the time I was writing HP fanfictions... In fact, it's an avatar of Snape, in a way 8D

Let me explain...
In my main story, I developped a certain kind of magic close to possession ( like in possessing another person ) : incarnation. Instead of controlling another person with your mind, you make up your own body... I'm not sure I'm very understandable, it's not easy to explain in English
For example, you think of a cat, and your mind instantly takes shape in form of a cat, outside your own body - which stays kinda unconscious, since your mind just left...

Of course this is very powerful ( black ) magic, for it's very tiring and dangerous. But the form your mind can take is up to you : the only limits are your own imagination ( thus you can be Cleopatra, a giant dragon or Johnny Depp if you want, or even a mix of the three 8D ). It's very very useful when you're a spy to take any form you want without anyone knowing it (:
Some forms are more difficult to "inhabit" : being a human who talks with other persons is harder than being a bird or something like that, since you have to think about your form all the time and in the meantime about what you're saying. It needs an extraordinary concentration.
And sometimes, if you're not paying attention enough, or if you're too tired, your mind wanders and your form can change according to your thoughts.
This is the case of that creature.
( by the way, the body you invent is called "chimera". Because in French, "chimère" is the name of the mythological creature but is also a word for illusion or dream. )
So this chimera is more or less the form Snape's mind takes when he's too tired to concentrate enough : it's a mix of a human body, a cat ( a form he likes ), and the hair of his lover 8D ( no, not Lily... )
It's what lies deeply in his mind and surfaces when he's upset/tired. It's his "basic chimera" or "elementary chimera" ( augh, it's so hard to translate that kind of thing D: ) Of course its shape can vary a little, according to the wanderings of his mind : it can be more or less human/feline, more or less skinny, etc. ( = ahaha, I don't care if the anatomy's wrong : it's all Snape's mind fault ! )

I hope it's all clear, it's only a brief summary It was already so hard to figure everything out in French XD
