Description
These bracers were commissioned as part of a set of armour (greaves to follow soon). Made from 2.4mm thick vegtan leather, with 2mm thick brown leather as a cut-away cover over the brass plates. The Ogham down the side was burned in using a pyrography pen. One bracer reads "I fight to spite you" and the other reads "I live despite you", which has a few in game meanings for the chap's character.Related content

Just a pinwheel followed by a lot of patient awling (cos that must take forever!!)

By hand
Overstitch wheel, awling and then stitching. You get a rhythm to it which makes it faster -- especially when you start getting into doing saddlestitch double handed. I really need to get myself a sewing clam rather than holding things between my knees...
